Of course this is really Yogi Bhajan’s fault for a really stupid decision to name all his students Singh/Kaur Khalsa, no matter what their level of commitment was to Sikhi. For them to use the name Khalsa, when the overwhelming majority of them neither recites panj bani nor wear panj kaka, is hypocritical in the extreme. I've said this before and I'll say it again: The 3HO people may do whatever Hindu practices they like there is no law against it but they should not claim to be Khalsa or use Khalsa names, Singh and Kaur. I'll post those links here again for you to read. I think if you read these articles carefully they will give you accurate facts about Yogi Bhajan which you seem to be lacking in your comments. I am wondering however if you have taken the time to read those articles in the Sikh Free Press which I posted in another thread. I'll take your word for it now that you are not doing this purposefully. I only ask this because I have read many of your comments in several threads on Reddit and I am just amazed at how your statements just do not tell the whole story about Yogi Bhajan and 3HO's many violations of the Sikh Reht Maryada. To Amardas: OK, I've deleted my statement asking if you are purposefully making untruthful statements in order to mislead Sikhs. It is not even claiming they are Sikh names.

I don't know if Yogi Bhajan ever gave people Sikh names directly Such casual character assassination instead of letting your arguments stand on their own merit. This is an example of a personal attack, turning this subreddit into a hostile place. But on second thought maybe you are making these statements purposefully to mislead well meaning Sikhs who really want to know the truth.
